Teddy Bears(Small/Medium & Large)๐งธ Loom Knit on a Knitting Machine Pattern
Here is what you will need to make teddy bear on a knitting machine
• Knitting machine(48 peg) a 46 peg is fine
• Yarn needle
• Yarn
• Safety eyes
• Poly fil
• Spool loom
• Scissors
• Measuring Tape
First I cast on going forward and backwards on the needles ( it should look like one needle on the hook with yarn and next is skipped because the yarn goes behind the hook )
After you cast on all needles slowly crank your first few rows to make sure it stays secure and no dropped stitches. Next you will crank 40 rows. Once you get 40 rows done you can continue on for another 45 rows that in total will be your head and body part of the teddy bear done. You should have between 85 rows total if you want a taller teddy bear you can do more rows. For the arms and legs I used the spool loom. Spool loom cast on and go to the length you would like. Cast on I used ewrap knit stitch and for the rest I also used ewrap knit stitch. Time to put teddy bear together! For the head put on your safety eyes and nose. Pull the strings together and put in poly fil for the head and body. After you have put in poly fil tie ends. Sew on a smile. Head and body you will need a few strings of yarn. I braided something for around the neck to separate the head and body. You don't have to braid anything you can just use a piece of string to separate the head and body. Sew on the arms and legs. Ears I did little triangles with rounded edges for this I just hold my thumb by the corners at the top of the head and sew back and forth. I didn't add on the ears I just went with what was already on the head at the top. Finished teddy bear!
85 rows makes a large teddy bear
45 rows makes a small/medium teddy bear
