How to make Orange & White Pumpkins Knit Pattern
• Loom circle ( small 24 pegs )
• Loom hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Yarn ( orange, white and brown )
How to make Orange&White Pumpkins:
•Cast on using the drawstring cast on
•Once the drawstring cast on is done then do one row of uwrap knit stitch
•Rows 3-21 will be purl(1) knit(3) the knit stitch I used was uwrap and purl.
•Row 22 uwrap knit stitch
•To finish bind off and then pull it off of the loom and stretch it some it helps make the stitches look better. Next pull together to close one end of the pumpkin. When you close both ends you will need to go around the circles and go through loops and skip some loops it helps pull in the circle so it closes.Now you will need to put in some poly-fil to make the pumpkin look round and now your at the other end of the pumpkin so you will need to close that end off. The purl sections you will need to weave some yarn in and out to help make the bumps so it can look more like a pumpkin.
•Final step to finish the pumpkin you will need to make a stem. I used some brown yarn and the small loom for this you only need to use 4 pegs. The 4 pegs you will ewrap knit stitch for the cast on and then wrap yarn front and back of pegs and ewrap knit stitch. After you get to the length you want you can then move peg 4 onto peg 3 and ewrap it then peg 1 onto peg 2 and ewrap it then peg 2 onto peg 3 and ewrap it you can then take stem off of the loom and do a basic knot or tie whatever you choose to do to make sure it don't come apart. Stem is finished now just sew it onto the top of the pumpkin and your done!
